Trip Overview
Experience the spectacular beauty and solitude of the Tetons’ rugged mountain environment on this two-week backpacking adventure along one of North America’s most renowned alpine trekking routes–the Teton Crest Trail. Consistently voted one of the most beautiful backpacking trails in America by a number of outdoor publications, the sweeping views of the Teton Crest trail is a highlight of this program! You will learn backcountry skills including traveling comfortably with a backpack, selecting and setting up a backcountry campsite, sourcing and purifying water, and cooking over small backpacking stoves while on the trail for 8 days. After exploring the jagged spires, alpine meadows, glaciers, and lake basins of the Teton Crest Trail, spend the day relaxing in some natural hot springs. The last two days of the trip will be spent conquering the whitewater rapids of the Snake River on inflatable kayaks, and learning how to fly fish from local experts!
